about our previous seasons...
Season 1: a year exploring meditation, study and service

What an exciting year season 1 was! The "three legged stool" of meditation, study, and service was prevalent in the design of each weekly radio show for the first season of Spirit Fire Radio. Each week we spoke with a guest whose passion, career, or motivations embodied the essence of the meditation tool that we were teaching that week in our online meditation training. The presence and purpose that individuals had cultivated in their lives came to the forefront and gave us great insight into the many ways that we can develop a living awareness in our lives.
The first year-long season saw us engage topics covered in three full rounds of our online meditation practice. We delighted in children; shows with amazing individuals striving to develop and highlight the dynamic qualities that children seem to possess, like wonder, innocence, and excitement. We talked to caregivers of those diagnosed with autism, developers of children’s meditation and yoga, and talent camp instructors. We featured artists and creative minds: singers, songwriters, painters, authors and musicians. We interviewed healers such as acupuncturists, art therapists, physical therapists, shamans, and energy healers. We talked to those who support our evolution: life coaches, astrologers, organic farmers, and educators; we chatted with lawyers and activists who use their passions to bring about change. We talked about ‘interludes’ with a bee-keeper, ‘focus’ with a researcher, ‘release’ with a grief counselor; it was a year of shows that painted the exquisite picture of an ever-evolving world shaped by the tools that foster awareness as they are wielded by the incomparable human spirit.

Season 2: a year of exploring spiritual concepts in depth....
For our second year we choose, each month, a different spiritual concept and discussed its significance for conscious living. By exploring the ways that consciousness unfolds, we were able to show how spirituality can be made practical allowing us to discuss the ways to incorporate meditation, study, and service into our everyday life.
